ABOUT ME
Rocky Hamilton

BACKGROUND
I am the 4th generation of my family to grow up in this district. I was born in Manhattan and moved to Three Forks. After graduating from Three Forks High School in 1999, I worked for Kanta Products in Three Forks before becoming a carpenter during my brief time in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Realizing that there is no place like Montana, I moved back in 2005.
As so many others were, I was impacted by the economy in 2008 and decided to dedicate my life to public service through law enforcement. After several years as a Detention Officer in Broadwater County, I joined the Manhattan Police Department and moved back to Manhattan in 2010. As an officer, I served as the law enforcement liaison with Manhattan Schools, chaired the Gallatin Valley DUI Task Force, and was a member of a multi-disciplinary team to helping children who are victims of violent crimes, and I coordinated our local Shop with a Cop program.
I received an associate degree in Business Management from Dawson Community College in 2015.
I live with my wife Callie and two children in Manhattan. We enjoy soaking up the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and supporting our local businesses in any way we can.
